«Образовательная программа “Нью-йоркский институт бизнеса в России” дает уникальную возможность: на базе российского экономического образования дополнительно получить американское высшее образование в области бизнеса и диплом бакалавра наук в Государственном университете Нью-Йорка (SUNY) – одном из всемирно известных и престижных вузов США. Основная часть Программы проводится в России, что существенно уменьшает расходы на обучение и делает возможным совмещение обучения в американском вузе с учебой и работой студентов в России. В Нью-Йорке проводятся летние семестры, во время которых студенты не только занимаются в кампусе, но и выезжают на специально организованные деловые экскурсии на Манхэттен, встречаются с первыми лицами крупных компаний. Выезд в Нью-Йорк – это факультативная, но очень важная часть Программы, организации которой американский университет уделяет особое внимание. Разумеется, при желании студента он(а) в рамках Программы может выехать на очное обучение в США и на более длительное время. С 2003 года участники Программы проходят завершающую часть учебных дисциплин в отделении американского вуза в Праге, одном из самых красивых и уютных городов Европы. "Новосибирирский государственный Университет Экономики и Управления совместно с американским коллtджем Broome Community College пришли к соглашению учредить совместную образовательную программу, обучившись по которой студенты НГУЭУ смогут получить степень Ассоциата американского колледжа, что является первой ступенью на пути к диплому бакалавра. Целью программы является достижение максимального понимания между нашими образовательными учреждениями и представителями каждой из культур. Колледж SUNY- лишь часть образовательной системы Государтственного Университета Нью- Йорка (SUNY). Государственный Университет Нью- Йорка включает в себя 64 географически рассредоточенных кампуса, вместе образующих полную систему государственного высшего образования в Соединенных штатах Америки. Университет Нью- Йорка осуществляет более 4000 образовательных программ по различным направлениям с возможностью присвоения званий, начиная степенью Ассоциата и заканчивая званием доктора наук. Уже на протяжении 60 лет колледж BCC SUNY предоставляет высшее образование на территории США. И теперь совместно с Новосибирским Университетом начал осуществлять инновационную образовательную программу, рассчитанную на подготовку специалистов по различным направлениям в соответствии с международными стандартами. Первоначальной целью этой программы было предоставлять новосибирским студентам возможность получать диплом Ассоциата американского образования по итогам учебы на индивидуальной программе с упором на профильные предметы, в соответствии с требованиями колледжа. В будущем другие направления обучения будут также открываться для российских студентов. Новосибирские студенты, находящиеся на программе, будут обучены в рамках специально разработанного учебного плана. В нашем колледже студентам будет позволено перезачесть предметы, пройденные на базе НГУЭУ, покрывающих не более чем 45 кредитов. Для присвоения степени в американском колледже нужно пройти предметы, покрывающие не менее чем 15 кредитов. Все курсы американской части программы можно пройти на английском языке непосредственно в колледже либо посредством он- лайн курсов, обучаясь дистанционно. Для студентов, обучающихся в колледже дистанционно, плата за обучение в два раза меньше, чем для студентов очного отделения. Студенты должны соответствовать всем требованиям Государственного Университета Нью- Йорка и отвечать ожиданиям преподавательского состава.Форму заявки на обучение следует представить тем слушателям, кто желает быть официально зачисленным в колледж Broome. К заявке необходимо приложить заверенный перевод школьного аттестата и зачетной книжки. Для подтверждения полноценной возможности изучать все предметы американской части самостоятельно, студентам необходимо продемонстрировать знание английского языка на должном уровне, сдав тесты TOEFL или IELTS. Минимальный результат, требуемый для зачисления в колледж Broome: 74 (интернет- вариант теста TOEFL) 203 (компьютеризированный вариант TOEFL) 537 (бумажный вариант TOEFL) 6.0 (тест IELTS). В случае необходимости в рамках американской части образовательной программы может быть пройден дополнительный курс английского языка".

The trip to New York is optional, but very important part of the Program which is organized by the American University with a special attention. Of course, if a student has a special wish, he (she) can go to the USA for a longer period of time to have a full-time education under this Program. Since 2003 the members of the Program have had the opportunity to finish the final part of the educational process at the Division of the American University in Prague, one of the most beautiful and comfortable cities in Europe. “Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management together with the American Broome Community College have come to the agreement to create a cooperative educational program due to which students of NSUEM can get an Associate’s Degree of the American College, which is the first step on the way to a Bachelor’s Degree. The purpose of the Program is to achieve the best understanding between our educational institutions and representatives of each of the cultures. The SUNY College is only a part of the educational system of the State University of New York (SUNY). The State University of New York includes 64 geographically dispersed campuses forming together a total system of the State Higher Education in the United States of America. The University of New York has more than 4000 educational programs in different fields with the possibility to assign different degrees: from Associate’s Degree up to Philosopher Doctor Degree. For more than 60 years the Broome Community College has given students higher education in the USA and now, together with Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management, it started implementing their innovative educational program to prepare specialists in different fields in accordance with the international standards. The initial purpose of this Program was to provide Novosibirsk students with the opportunity to get an American Associate’s Degree on the results of study under their individual program with a focus on specialized disciplines and in accordance with the College requirements. In the future other educational fields will be also open for Russian students. Novosibirsk students taking part in this Program will be taught according to a special curriculum. In our College students will be allowed to have transfer credits for some disciplines taken at NSUEM and covering not more than 45 credits. To get a degree at the American College, it’s necessary to take some disciplines covering not less than 15 credits. All courses of the American Part of the Program can be taken in English directly at the College or by means of distance learning online courses. For distance learning students of the College the tuition fee is twice less than for full-time ones. The students should meet all the requirements of the State University of New York and the expectations of the teaching staff. The form of application for this Program should be filled in and sent by those students who want to be officially enrolled in the Broome Community College. The application should be attached by the certified translation of the School Certificate and Student’s Record Book. To confirm the full opportunity of independent studying all disciplines of the American Part, students should show their English proficiency at the proper level by passing the TOEFL or IELTS tests. The minimum result required for the enrollment in the Broome Community College amounts to 74 scores (internet version of the TOEFL test), 203 scores (computer version of the TOEFL test), 537 scores (paper version of the TOEFL test), 6.0 scores (IELTS test). In case of need, under the American Part of the Educational Program you can take an additional course of the English language”.
